access, parking and facilities

Access to the studio is by car from Furzebrook Road.  There is ample parking at the premises.

All of Furzebrook studios are suitable for wheelchair users.  All units are on the ground floor, accessible via a corridor and wide doors.

There is also access to the outside area of flat grassland and a short walk (5 mins) to the heathland, via a private gate and footpath, (accessible only for students at the studio).

The studios are a hub of creative talent, with the makers and teachers who include artists, potters, jewellery makers, model making and a DJ!  We will have Open Days as well as other events, so please keep an eye on the website.

There is ample parking on site. Please turn into the drive (right side) of 52 Furzebrook Road.

The gate will be open when one of the makers is present.

The studios are clean and bright.  There are toilets and a kitchen on site.

There is also space outside the studio, looking onto the woodland and heathland, suitable for outdoor classes. A wonderful space for watching birds, deer and wildlife.

The bright studio has a large table suitable for 8 students in a class.  There is a collection of natural finds and arts & crafts are on show, to inspire the classes.
